Good, i guess. Looks like everyone that said we would have an unknown big man, may be right.

That's an interesting mix of teams. Lamar and UConn mixing it up on the recruiting trail.

UConn is well known for discovering under the radar big men who can play some ball. I have a feeling we will see more and more BCS teams hoping on board with this kid.......

Got to love his the weight to go along with the height.

.......and what is really interesting is that he's so under the radar that I've never ever heard his name mentioned. Admittedly, I don't follow recruiting and local HS sports that much, but I would have thought that I'd heard something about this kid. Maybe it's because Henry and Orton get so much press. What HS is he playing for?

Could be the mystery signee. Only the coaches know. I'd opt for Withey from UA.

Bob, is Withey a serious option?

Jeff Whithey is a seven foot, 225 pound freshman center at UA but hasn't yet shown up for their basketball practices. He was recruited by Boston College, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Syracuse, Texas and Romar over at that big school in Seattle.

This morning his mother confirmed he's decided to transfer from the Arizona Wildcats basketball program.

What a fabulous pick-up if he lands at Gonzaga!

He might have transferred in to the high school for his senior year. There is a profile (http://www.latinbasket.com/events/cu17/07/rosters.asp) for a Rodrigo Madera on the 2007 U17 Dominican Republic team at Latin Basket (http://www.latinbasket.com/events/cu17/07/rosters.asp). Born in 1990, 200+ libs., could be the guy.
