All coaches ultimately have to leave, but I believe Few wants to achieve all of his goals at Gonzaga. Think about where the GU program was 10 years ago with Few just taking over, and where the GU program could be in 10 years from now with another decade under Few's guidance.
As today has proved... anything can happen in college hoops though. I just feel fortunate to have witnessed first-hand the success and stability that Few has sustained over the last decade.
Honestly, though, I really am not too nervous about this. Maybe I should be, but I just feel like Few really wants to stay at GU. Especially now, with the team he has this year - why leave now? Zona fans have seemed convinced in the past that Few is their future. I guess we'll see pretty soon.
As a human being you have to decide whether your career enobles your life, or whether your life enobles your career. I get the feeling Mark Few isn't going anywhere.

I would be totally shocked if Arizona hired a new coach right now from outside their existing staff. We're only one month away from the start of the season. That's not enough time for a new coach to come on board, hire a whole new staff, and implement a whole new system with a bunch of players they've never worked with before and who are likely pissed off about what has transpired. I have to believe that if it comes down to it, Livengood will hire the friggin' team manager to coach the team for one season so that a proper coaching search can take place. Arizona needs to get this right, or their program could go down the tubes.
Maybe they could bring on Eddie Sutton for a year.

You don't think he would spend all that time recruiting bouldin only to have someone else coach him. So yes, he is following bouldin to be a part of the arizona program
