What type of player is he at 7'1''? Finesse or Banger? Can he contribute from day one? We have heard about Montreal, but i don't know much about his game. Any details or analysis would be great. Thanks.

What makes Michel so unique is that he runs the floor very well for a big man, and has a freakish wing span. I don't think he could contribute offensively immediately, but he could certainly make an impact on the defensive end.

Dr. Krause says Will Foster runs the floor better than any big man we have. Is this kid significantly better than Foster?

There's one surefire way to find out how he plays--

I will say that unless Guy is a very, very rare exception, any good player from France signs a pro contract by Guy's age. The current thing to do in France is to go pro. Things have changed a lot since Ronny and others came over here before going pro. It just makes me wonder, if Guy is any good at all, why is he at a junior college in America instead of Cholet or Nancy?

I'd be very surprised if Guy ends up in a Zag uniform. He seems to be a great young man, but as BZ stated... players his age with talent more than likely turn pro.

The lure of turning pro for young European players has placed more of a focus on recruiting in countries like Canada, Australia, and Brazil. St. Mary's has developed a pipe-line in Australia and Gonzaga seems to be developing a pipe-line in Canada. Maybe JP version 2.0 from Brazil will end up a Zag in '09... nothing surprises me anymore.
