Who is Slim? I only know of Slim Pickens and Slim Whitman, and I think they're both dead.

My guess is it was Slim Shady.

OT, but we had an interesting experience at the Statue of Liberty with the lyrics of Slim Shady. Apparently people were sitting on the stairs, so a guy (probably 30s-40s) comes over the loud speaker and starting parodying one of Eminem's songs in order to get people to stand up. Yeah...it was weird.

But anyway, I don't know where this was heard, but Daye is going to be ready. I just hope he isn't nervous to make cuts or anything in fear of hurting his knee again.

It is only natural for him to be a little tentative making cuts. All he told me was he would be fine for the season.

Slim whatever aside...

Just a little tidbit...

I was at the Charity game and noted a charming moment...

Austin and Alex Hernandez chatting on court, then Austin goes over to Alex's wife with new baby in tow and does the kochy kochy coo thing with the little girl.

Totally sweet moment.

Will mendiant start to love Austin?...probably.

Be afraid Austin, very afraid!!!

Ive had bad knees most of my life and surgery on both. If he is still not 100% it seems to me that the injury is worse than we are being told. I hope Austin is heeled and just dealing with some mental issues that will pass with more time.

Didn't Slim beat the snot out of Jim in a Jim Croce song?

Btw, Austin is doing real well and is going hard in individual drills with no problems during or after. Ditto for Josh and his ankle.

That's GREAT to hear, on both counts. Let's hope it stays that way (knock on wood, everybody!)
