Best of Summer Tournament July 27 - 31

This one kind of snuck up on me. The link to the Double Pump Best of Summer event is here. We know that Anthony Marshall's Las Vegas Prospects are playing. I'm just starting to check out who else will be on deck.

This is the best (imo) of all the summer tournaments. Higher Hoops is playing and are 1-0 so far. Three G Prep kids are on the team, David Stockton, Sean Fischer, and Ryan Nicholas (who couldnt make the trip due to an injury). Along with that there is Aaron Dunn from Shadle, and three Walla Walla players, Gary Winston, Michael Weisner and Colton Arias. These guys just got back from Vegas where they lost in OT in the championship game of the Silver Bracket.
    GO HIGHER HOOPS!

Again you go above and beyond with the flow of information and it is well appreciated. Sidenote, those Higher Hoops boys soundly beat the Northwest Panthers two weeks ago at the Premier Tournament in Bellevue. The Bellermine kids are the real deal for sure but the Spokane kids were up 25 most of the game.
Best of luck to all the kids in the tournament, may they come home healthy with a better appreciation of what it takes to get to the next level.

Thanks, Theo. This looks like the link to the game on Maxxathlete.com

            I think Honeycutt's #5 on the roster.

eastsideballer, is John Stockton coaching that Higher Hoops team?

The coach for Higher Hoops is Darcy Weisner. You may remember him as the coach of Shadle for a number of years. Today he is the principal at Walla Walla HS. He is one of the better coaches around (again imo) and the kids are fortunate to have him. This is the fourth year that Higher Hoops has been doing the summer circuit.

John is helping with the team and is on the bench during the games. What a gift having his knowledge and participation is to the players, they love having him help.
