    2007-08 WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll

    The Commissioner's honor roll recognizes WCC student athletes for performance in the classroom. To qualify, an athlete must have earned a letter in a varsity sport in which the conference determined a champion (so, GU's men's crew is excluded), the cumulative GPA must be above 3.0, and the student athlete must have completed at least 12 graded credit hours per term.

    Gold Honors: 3.75-4.00
    Silver Honors: 3.50-3.74
    Bronze Honors: 3.00-3.49

    Gonzaga: 145 student athletes receiving honors:
    Gold: 27 (including 2 student athletes with perfect 4.0's)
    Silver: 24
    Bronze: 94 (including Andrew Sorenson and David Pendergraft [3.17 in philosophy])
    (Gonzaga WBB had 8 players receiving honors, including three receiving gold honors: Jami Bjorklund, Amanda Brown and Maria Hassett)

    Portland: 129 student athletes receiving honors
    Gold: 17
    Silver: 33
    Bronze: 79

    LMU: 97 student athletes receiving honors
    Gold: 14
    Silver: 25
    Bronze: 58

    USD: 92 student athletes receiving honors
    Gold: 16
    Silver: 15
    Bronze: 61

    SMC: 89 student athletes receiving honors
    Gold: 11
    Silver: 25
    Bronze: 53

    SCU: 68 student athletes receiving honors
    Gold: 12
    Silver: 13
    Bronze: 43

    USF: 60 student athletes receiving honors
    Gold: 11
    Silver: 14
    Bronze 35

    Pepperdine: 60 student athletes receiving honors
    Gold: 9
    Silver 14
    Bronze: 37
