Must be a bit painful for the UW Coach to watch much of that talent flee UW. Some stay but most don't. Brockman's such a talent . I wonder why those kids leave. Then again, I wonder why some stay. Lots of out of towners this year. Lots of talent. It would be nice to see UW do well.;)

Ferris '07/'08 Boys 4A State Champs
Lewis & Clark 06/07/08 4A Girls State Champs

Teamwork > Recruiting stars.

While a great squad from ferris did win the 4A title for the last two years I think its pretty tough to say that Spokane is bringing home the titles on a consistant basis for the boys considering they have a grand total of about 4 4A titles in the last 25 years between the Spokane schools, and plenty of those schools in the west featured big recruits. Ferris was great but dont get too caught up with the recent results.

Ferris has been in 8 title games since 1988. Spokane has had 4 champions in the last 18 years, and Spokane has had 11 representatives in the title game in the last 20 years.
