Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery should be doing the final four, we should start a petition.

Yep.

I really wish it was Gus, Raftery, and Bilas. I love the three man booth (i.e. the Big East Tournament). Besides, you need Bilas there to calm Gus and Raf down from time to time.

I'm not sure what CBS is thinking. Everyone loves Gus and Bill. Clark belongs in the stuido, he is an outstanding studio analyst.

Hope that's a double door he's exiting so he can take John Tesh, er I mean Jim Nantz with him.

I was really hoping that Raff or Raff and Bilas would replace Packer. The problem I have with Nantz as a lead announcer is the fact that he's involved in so many other sports like the NFL and golf that he doesn't announce any college b-ball games until late February. Then he comes in and starts railing against the RPI and other matters related to college basketball that he doesn't know anything about because he hasn't been around the sport. That being said, I think the people who dislike Nantz might find him more tolerable now that he's paired with Kellogg.

The next question I have is who is going to replace Kellogg in the studio? It seems that during the regular season the only guy in the studio these days is Seth Davis, but when March Madness starts rolling around, they are probably going to need to hire an additional analyst. I suppose they could "borrow" an ESPN analyst. I don't know if they are going to find a coach who would be willing to sit in the studio all day long. What I hope they don't do is hire any of those College Sports Television (formerly CSTV) guys like Steve Lappas....those guys are awful.

DICKIE V!!! ;)

I would say have Gumbel, Davis, and Bilas but Bilas does the march madness games. I wonder if they move him to the studio now that Kellog is gone. Bilas for Kellog is a pretty even trade as far as basketball knowledge and class...both have tons.

That's the problem I have with Nance, CDC; he's just not that deep into CBB.

As far as analysts, if they go the coach route they obviously need a guy who is well spoken & whose team doesn't make the post season. Great opportunity for Romar to get started on his next career.

Nance=Nantz, as posted above at least 5 times.

CBS is bringing Greg Anthony on board to fill Clark Kellogg's spot alongside Gus Johnson during the regular season. He may or may not work the studio during the post-season.

Bilas will not be joining CBS. His contract with ESPN allows him to work the first 4 rounds of the NCAA tourney with CBS, and that's it. Raf will never be in the #1 slot...end of story.

Amen. Gus is good to the GUs ... both of them. Must be something about his first name. The famous '99 Zags v Gators announcing, and then just this past March there was this gem.

"He's STRIPPED! OOHHHHHHHHHH HES FOULED! Behind the THREE POINT LINE!"

"Is today March 1st? Buckle up!"

But give Billy credit for being one little ol' tough monkey to hang in there for 34 years.

One of the funniest things I've seen in some time...especially on a tough day for us Zag fans.
