View Full Version : Pac 10 is nuts!

The great ESPN guys keep talking about how strong the Pac-10 is and how good the top 4 are. Well it seems to me they are pretty much all equal and Cal beats UCLA and they still pretty much say that UCLA and every other team in the Pac-10 deserves a #1 seed. They don't have a clue.

WCC gets no respect is my only point here I guess.

OK - ACC is nuts also NC State just beat Duke. Like I said the Selection committe is just a crap shoot.

IMO recent results indicate parity, rather than "any team can play a great game any time."

I'm starting to wonder just how strong the Pac-10 is. I guess we're going to find out starting next week. I have a feeling the league peaked earlier in the year. UCLA had a No. 1 seed to play for and looked bad, and I don't think it's because Cal is all that great. Arizona got rolled. I haven't been all that impressed with the games I've seen so far, compared to the ball being played in the Big East, etc.

Oregon is scary. Yeah they lack an inside presence but they can shoot lights out from 3-land. If Porter and Brooks get hot they could be really tough.

Then again, in any given game if their backcourt is cold they have little chance of beating good teams IMO.

I don't think you can deny the strength of the Pac-10 - playing each other for the last couple months isn't going to give any of them the upper hand, but it will make for some exciting basketball.

It's good to see the Pac-10 getting some College Hoops notoriety...it's hard to rip the media away from the Big 10/ACC and a plethora of others.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of the WCC being considered "the Junior College" league, but the Pac-10 is strong.

This seems like the year when 40 of the tournament teams have a chance of winning the whole thing.

Its gonna be crazy...
