Has there been any word if Ronny is going to be on this team?

"Parker to Turiaf for the ALLYOOP!!!!"

Also anyone know if he will be in town for Hoopfest-- he is one of the greatest representatives for Spokane and Gonzaga that is out in the league at this time.

Great story and great person -- it doesn't get much better than that!

Ronny said recently that he won't go for the Olympic team unless and until he has a contract, with his free agency making him eligible to negotiate with the Lakers and other teams starting July 1.

Did France qualify?

I don't think they qualified for 2004.

Men's Teams Qualified for Beijing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basketball_at_the_2008_Summer_Olympics_-_Men%27s_qualification)

France did not qualify; Scroll down on the Wiki page ( "Summary" Section ) to see those teams that are eligible for the "wild card" tourney in Athens. . .

I have no clue about qualification for the Olympics. Here's the June 19 dailynews.com story (http://www.dailynews.com/sports/ci_9642941) that had the Ronny Olympics mention.

Turiaf said that he would only play for France in the Summer Olympics if his contract status is resolved in time.
