Here's what I've found. Not much. Anyone have anything more? I know he also has a date with the Supes.

(Rider big man Jason) Thompson, a relative unknown, showed intriguing athleticism and finishing ability at the rim, while Neitzel, Anderson and Pargo shot the ball well but look to be second rounders at best.

"It was exciting," Pargo said. "There's a great atmosphere here in Washington, a great tradition of excellence here. We got out there and tried to play our hearts out."

Thanks....we will try and give updates and quotes from all of the remaining workouts for Jeremy. His final workout will be with Seattle on the 16th, which is the final day to withdraw from the draft.

That's a lot of microphones to be talking to a guy who's a 'second-rounder at best.' Maybe the folks in D.C. thought he was from Gonzaga High School.

Also, I'm not sure where Pargo gets the idea that the Wizards have a "tradition of excellence."

I guess if you're applying for a job, you're probably not going to come out and say, "Wow, these guys have been AWFUL for years."

That's the Sidney Ponson approach, and his tenure with the Texas Rangers came to an abrupt end yesterday:

Texas Rangers cut ties with pitcher Ponson

ARLINGTON Citing a lack of respect for teammates and the club, the Rangers suddenly severed ties with No. 3 starter Sidney Ponson on Friday.

General manager Jon Daniels declined to reveal specific reasons for the decision to designate Ponson for assignment to make room for Vicente Padilla, who was activated from the bereavement list. The Rangers have 10 days to release or trade Ponson.

"He had disrespectful and adverse reactions to situations that were unbecoming of a teammate," Daniels said. "We want guys who want to be here. We're trying to put together a team here, and based on some comments and reactions, he didn't want to be part of that. That's not something we're going to tolerate."

According to multiple club sources, the situation had been bubbling for days and came to a head in the last two days over a disagreement in Ponson's pitching schedule.

With the problems that the Rangers have had with pitching (for decades), Mr. Ponson really screwed the pooch. Good luck in the real world, Sid! :lmao:
