The Chiefs looked very impressive in both games. They scored early in both games and dominated Lethbridge.

As a huge supporter of the Spokane Chiefs, all I have to say is...
GO CHIEFS GO!
2008 WHL Champions!

...and now, time to go for their second Memorial Cup!

I really think this Chief team will take home the Cup... they have been on fire after grinding out the OT games against Tri!

Zag79, to which former Chief do you refer (just curious)?

When I graduated in 1990 I moved out to NY and lived with my father briefly. I was out mowing the lawn one morning and looked across the street and noticed someone across the street doing the same thing. The guy looked really familiar but I just couldn't place the face right away. I went inside later and asked my dad who lived across the street. He told me, "Oh, its three guys who play with the Islanders." As soon as I heard he was a hockey player it all fell into place. I looked out and saw that the guy was just finishing up. I walked across the street and told him, "I've seen you play hockey." Naturally his response was the he played on the Islanders. I responded back, "No, I've seen you play hockey in SPOKANE". He gets this look on his face and says "No Way Eh!" It was non other than goon extraordinaire Mick Vukota (http://www.hockeygoon.com/vukota.html). We shared a couple beers and talked about some of the great fights that the Chiefs used to get in when he was there.
