...at the Next Level Tournament.

Aaron Dotson, SG, Friends of Hoop We knew Dotson could shoot, and he backed that up in F.O.H.s game against the Shockaz, but what we were surprised with was his ability to put the ball on the deck and attack the rim. He used shot fakes to get by defenders and finished well around the basket. Dotson is a solid shooting guard prospect that is tracking at the high major level.

Aaron Dotson said he currently has scholarship offers from Georgia and Gonzaga. He said hes also getting interest from Kansas, Utah, California, Washington and Miami. Kansas, Washington and Miami are expected to be at his school on Monday.

Also, Clarence Trent is there, and I have to believe Marshall Henderson is there. Few is very likely watching some others we don't know about yet.

On a pdf file on the LevelBallers website (http://www.nextlevelballer.com/tournaments.php), I see that a Dallas Mustangs team played Friday and Saturday. Marshall Henderson plays for the mustangs, but I don't know if he was on that squad.

I see the Portland Legends also played Friday and Saturday. Is Brock playing with them? (I didn't follow the Brock thread that's going right now on the board.)

Yes, add Jeff Reid and Brock Osweiler to that list. There is also another tourney going on in Dallas, plus one in Houston. A busy time in Texas.

And, of course, Few was also watching Sam Dower on that Net Gain team listed above, as you flagged in your post about him (http://www.guboards.spokesmanreview.com/showthread.php?t=12240&highlight=Net+Gain) yesterday ...

(Am I going to have to re-subscribe to Scout for a couple of months? Oh, the humanity! All due respect to your friend Jerry Meyer, but I'm not impressed with Rivals' coverage of these tournaments so far...)

Wasn't aware that Dotson was on the GU radar. Thought Trent was officially off last summer.

Love the surprises that pop up during the recruiting season!

I really like the focus on Texas in the past couple recruiting seasons. I think there is a lot more talent there than many East Coast people would like to admit. Big 12/SEC schools like Louisiana State, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, and Kansas have been thriving on the state for years.

Appearances = contacts

contacts = eventual network

network = pipeline

Yes....the Texas pipeline.....
