Anyone see Ronny at the end of the bench today. Seems completely disinterested even though the Lakers were up by 20. Usually he's up celebrating--a little disapointing.
Maybe he's mad that he was yanked? Hopfully he's just under the weather or something.

Yea he doesn't look so hot, he has had a towel over his head for most of the game. I doubt he is mad for not playing more. His minutes have been sporadic all year, and he has to know with playoffs his role will be further reduced.

Yeah, Ronny seems like the type to embrace whatever role he can get. I'm just not used to see him with his head down. When Odom had that monster oop at the end the entire bench was up...except Ronny.

When Kobe came out, it appeared he made an effort to slap Ronny's outstretched hand even though he barely looked Kobe's way. When everyone on the Laker bench was standing close to the end he remained seated. At the very end when Gasol got the final rebound, he stood up and appeared to be headed toward the locker room while other Lakers were celebrating. Probably making way too much of all this.

We can move this thread to a barren wasteland because I may have answers:
"FYI, Ronny Turiaf, who struggled in his three+ minutes of burn, was a little under the weather. That probably helps explain his poor performance (and, at least in part, its very short length)."
From lakersblog...sorry I X'd out before linking.

Ronny T didn't play well. I am a little bummed but he needs to step it up. But you have to hand it to Gasol and Odom. They played great!

Ronny tossed the first pitch at a Dodger's game. Looks like a knuckleball.

Get well, big fella!
