May those that love us, love us. And those who don't love us may God turn their hearts. And if God cannot turn their hearts, may He turn their ankles, so that we may know them by their limping and be able to run the floor by them with ease.

I'll toast to a win.

I'll toast to team spirit.

I'll toast to Sean and Derek.

I'll toast to true Zags everywhere.

Vas heil! Drinc heil!

That is the best one yet! Thanks for sharing it. I just decided on what I'm going to be drinking tonight with my spaghetti vongole. It will be Guinness. What else would a Zag drink when we play those Cafeteria Catholics from the Silicon Valley?

03-05-2007, 05:25 PM
Prost ! ( Or, if you're a surrender monkey "Proust" )

( And while we're at it, tonight is a Jack & Coke night. . .must win games call for serious fare: Chili Dogs, Lays, Jack Daniels )

Mmmmmmmm. . .chili dogs !

03-05-2007, 05:25 PM
Perfect combo. Will be having Guinness myself. Although I am surprised you can get it down there - isn't it Anchor Steam country? I will be drinking to the Zags and a Zag victory all night.

Pour me another one, bartender. . .

It's a Zag game. Nothing ordinary about it.

Time to pour a pint of home brewed stout, fresh from the keg.

I just had 3 Pacifico's in the last 10 minutes of the second half. They were 24ouncers!

03-05-2007, 08:21 PM
I love this team. They're gritty, tough and play with a ton of heart.

Pargo and Mallon were obviously hobbled but gutted it out. Bouldin did a little bit of everything. Pendo gave us toughness and a big 3. Kuso, once again, gave us energy. And even though he didn't shoot that well, Micah ... 10+ rebounds?! Wow!

But most of all, what a performance by DRav! This was a legacy game for him. He kept us in the game in the first half, and put it away in the second half!

Sure, our freethrow shooting could have been better, but what a gutty performance by our guys. I'm really proud of them!

true champs, all !

LOVE this team !

03-05-2007, 08:26 PM
Great perimeter defense (late crappy SCU 3-pt. shooting and shot selection, too), great night for DRAV, Downs is now officially indispensible, dependable Pendo...Kuso (heart of gold)...Bouldin was golden...screw the committee...we're in the show!

Put on your dancin' shoes boys!!!!!

03-05-2007, 08:48 PM
Here's another toast to Derek and Sean - seniors extraordinaire.

03-05-2007, 08:49 PM

Best feeling in the world to know we are going to the dance. Nothing better than savoring wins like this.

Here's to every Zag fan across the globe. And yes there are some overseas at the moment. We all have something in common and something to celebrate tonight.

03-05-2007, 08:51 PM
P.S. Disregard the names of the couple on that previous pic I posted. If I had time or if I had Slug's computer skills, I would have photoshop those names out and replaced them with DRav and Pendo.

03-05-2007, 08:55 PM
It's Pabst or bust here in Idaho...here's to the big dance!

03-05-2007, 08:58 PM
Congrats to our guys for the incredible effort and heart shown over the past month.

If it wasn't one thing it was another, and these guys stepped up each time, through, stupidity, injury and sickness...

my word, what a great group of men we have representing GU on the court!!!

Thank you for a great (heart wrenching) regular season!

I have been in Canada where the only sports on TV this time of year are Hockey, Curling and Ultimate fighting. Drove back to the states to the tiny town of Northport,WA. (popoulation 336) just to watch the last two games (hadn't mised one all season which is a challenge when you live in San Diego and travel). I was the only person in the bar tonight and was treated like gold. We toasted the Zags numerous times before I had to cut myself off so i could drive back to Canada and get by customs. Check out the Whitebird Saloon in Northport for a great burger, cold beer and a Zag WCC victory. Go Zags. Cheers!!!

I also just got back from the game. Great Fun. I agreed with some other posters, great respect for this team. Go Zags!
