Another beauty contest. Augustin can't even compare to Rose. Lopez runs circles around Hibbert. At least they got CDR right.

Ohhh...and congrats Jeremy Pargo

Good for Pargo. Congrats.

Very few seniors on the three teams. None on the first. Sign of the times...

Definately not a bad list to find yourself on, even as an honorable mention! Congratulations Pargo! A well earned accomplishment indeed!

Congratulations Pargo! Does anyone else fine it surprising that neither Derrick Low or Kyle Weaver did not receive any recognition?

There were more than a few that thought the two underachieved. I really like Weaver though. Grade A defender...solid all-around game. Probably should be on that list. Remember when Tennessee fans were in an uproar when Low and Weaver were selected for an international team over Lofton?

The difference is that the coaches made that decision instead of the Associated Press. Like I said.....AP All-America is a beauty contest.

Weaver should be AA...easily. I would have taken him over nearly any other Senior. This is a great thing for Pargo. Kind of gives us and HIM a leg up as we head toward next year. He sure came along nicely from the beginning to the end of this past year.

I'm happy to see that the national media have finally acknowledged CDR's worth as a player. Nobody in college basketball has hit more clutch shots the past two seasons than him.

I wonder if Jeremy came into Gonzaga with his own special list of personal goals, and if he did, I wonder if becoming an All-American was on the list ...

May all your dreams come true, Jeremy! Especially the one I've got to believe is there: To make the Final Four.
