Congratulations to San Diego. Bill Grier is becoming a star. Brandon Johnson is turning heads. Pomare is rock solid. Good luck in the tournament.
    I miss Mike Hart

Indeed. Congrats to both Coach Grier, Coach Bankhead, and the rest of the staff as well as the players and fans.

They were hungrier, and got it done.

Congrats to Billy Grier and his Torreros!!!

Thanks to this win, the pundants are saying there are 3 WCC teams in the big dance.

Very happy for Grier and his win in his inaugural year as head coach.

            Well done!

Great job, he did amazing and even got USD to extend their lead with Johnson on the bench, that is flat out amazing and obviously an excellent job...Look forward to the new USD-Gonzaga rivarly in the coming years!

Congrats to the Toreros for winning the tournament but contrary to the Espn talking heads the Zags are the league champions.

                  1) USD executed their game, and they should be commended for that.
                  2) Refs let the players play tonight, and they should be commended for that.
                  3) Three WCC teams deserve to be in the Dance, and the coaches of those three teams should be commended for that.

Congrats to Grier in particular for having the last word on this one.

Congrats to the USD coaches, esp the ex Zags. I'm not sure Billy outcoached Few, but I'm positive his team outplayed, outhustled, and had more desire than the Zags tonight, and probably a lot of credit should go to the Grier and staff for that.

                      Class act.

Very touching to see him having a heart to heart with all the GU players while his crowd and team celebrated at midcourt.

If by "out-coached" you mean Grier told his guys to play hard, box out, get loose balls and dare GU to take jumpers all night, then yes, Grier "flat out out-coached Mark Few."

Hats off to Grier for getting his boys to play so damn hard, to believe when they were up against it last night and to come out confident and energized tonight. The Zags played sloppy and couldn't hit the broad side of Jenny Craig's ass during this tournament. Hopefully they shake it off.

Congrats Billy... now if all three teams can make deep runs... ahhh... one can dream.

Don't want to take exception or start anything but if Grier got his guys to do what you stated and Few didn't what would you call it?

and agreed ... I've never seen a winning coach look more distressed while shaking hands with the other team.
